Only 4% of the state’s 28,000 active attorneys were selected for recognition in this 20th Legal Elite class, based on the votes of active members of the N.C. State Bar.

Parry Law was recognized on this list as a “Tier 1” law firm in the Raleigh metro area for both Commercial Litigation and Litigation-Insurance and was also listed in “Tier 2” for “Bet-the-Company Litigation.”

The Diversity Committee works to identify and recruit diverse candidates for Litigation Section Council membership and to promote educational and training opportunities relevant to diversity and inclusion.

The “Lawyer of the Year” recognition is awarded to individual lawyers with the highest overall peer feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region, and only a single lawyer in each practice area and community is so recognized.

Both attorneys will serve a three-year term on the Council, beginning with the 2020-21 Bar Association year.

The presiding ceremonial panel included Judges John Arrowood, Chris Brook, and Toby Hampson. Alan Parry introduced Garson and presented him for admission.
