Carl Newman Presents at Durham County CLE
Parry Law attorney Carl Newman presented for the third time at the Durham County Bar Association's annual CLE program earlier this month. Carl's presentation this year was a primer on the most common sanctions motions and the many ways to defend against them. Always glad to share his expertise as a litigator, Carl has presented to the Durham County Bar in the past on expert witness practice and ethics in negotiations.
Carl is an active member of the Durham County Bar Association, serving currently on that organization's CLE committee. Carl has over a decade of experience litigating in state and federal court as well as administrative tribunals. Across his career, Carl has won numerous critical and dispositive motions, appeals, hearings and trials in a wide variety of civil cases. In addition to his work on behalf of the local Bar, Carl is an active member of the Durham community, serving in appointed roles on numerous city and county committees and boards.
